What impacts graphics, fps

is there a guide somewhere and if not could someone please explain to someone who doesn't understand what fxaa and aa1 means in all these settings mean, do, improve, subtract?

ive been having a hard time running call of duty 3 on my laptop without tanking below 5 fps, everytime i do a monster trick on ssx on tour the fps goes down to 30 when the rest of the game runs a smooth 60 fps. how much would a graphics card help? if a lot which one is recommended?

you won't get a graphics card in your laptop. you're stuck with that hardware.
