There is no "better" it's all based on what game you're trying to play and if they improved it

yes, always pick the newest revision. Remember though there could be bugs, these are unstable builds and could have problems, although they are usually solved pretty quickly.

Yep, and solving problems in the general emulation and correcting auto included bugs (
I know this very well) is the reason for SVN.
