What would be a great recording software for PCSX2 that doesn't lag the emulator?

Shadowplay or something that uses intel quicksync(like msi afterburner).

It's not fraps or other recording software being slow, it's you computer, or your recording setup.

Encoding video is very CPU (or GPU) intensive, and in order to both play a game and record video at the same time you need a fast system. Some recording tools let you choose different codecs or different balance between CPU usage to size on disk of the recording and the quality of the recording.

But there's no running away from the fact that adding recording just requires a faster system than when you just play a game.

Yeah I know. But fraps is much slower than something like shadowplay, which has almost no runtime cost.
