Where do I go to find hide file extensions for known file types option?

So i`ve been having a problem that`s sort of like this one http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-WHY-IS-MY...UND?page=2 but since it was closed I couldn`t say Where do I find file extension for known files. So is anyone able to help me out with that?

I'm not on my computer right now(on my ipadSmile) but off the top of my head I think you go to folder options. Click the view tab. It should be around there...somewhereBiggrin

that's another problem.
can you please show uswhat exactly happens ? (screenshots) what you do, what you can't do ? which error mesage you get ?
post the emulog.txt ?
