Which PCSX2 version should I use?

Im not quite sure which PCSX2 version is the best to use for my PC specs and the best to play games with. 
I would appreciate if you all could help me out

My specs are:
Edition: Windows 10 Pro
Version: 1703
OS Build: 15063.413
Processer: Intel ® Core ™ i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz 2..40GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB (7.88 GB usable)
System Type: 64 bit operating system, x64 based processer.

Now I'm no expert, but the latest release is usually the way to go regardless of specs.

1.4 is a bit obsolete at this point.
Also remember to use OpenGL render.
