Which games are the MOST demanding to run at full speed?

Shadow of the Collosus is definitely demanding. I get around 25-35fps in gameplay without hacks. It is worth mentioning that the game doesn't seem to "break" much with speedhacks, as I can get around a 60fps reading that feels smooth.

Valkyrie Profile 2 Slimeria isn't too bad. So far I've had around 50fps in town and 50-60fps in battle. I'm still in the first forest and have 35fps or so when going through the areas. At least the battles are relatively smooth. Hacks may help in town or battles, but don't for that 35fps. MicroVU1 does change the look of the little info crystal in the forest, though.

Weird... In my case the game seems to run not-smooth at all (with 60FPS) while using speedhacks and I'm not using VU Cycle Stealing Hack (fake FPS reading when used more than half-bar) Could you please share with me what mix of speedhacks you use for SoTC please.

For SotC, I used EE 2x Cycle rate, INTC hack, IOP hack, Status Flag hack and "Slight" VU Cycle Stealing. Not sure if it's the best, but I just tried it and liked the results. I've used the beta-1888 and March plugins, but the brightness and shadows are better with the special SSSE3 GSdx plugin for reduced bloom. It should be GT4. I don't recall seeing anyone says having the game run full speed all time. Even a 4.4ghz E8400 and 4.2ghz i7 can't seem to do it according to the "best setting for gt4" thread.

can you post that GT4 thred link for me im trying to get it running on my system from the disc not a rom or iso

I get ~35FPS in Primal, that is with speedhacks (at least speedhacks before they break the game) and most of the speedy options enabled.

What did you do to make Primal work???
Do you have NTSC or PAL version???
It doesn't get past the first loading screen in my case

edit: okay now it runs. but very slow indeed.

Please tell me how did you manage to go ingame? The game hangs after first video for me...

If you have the PAL game, it has a patch but no idea if you have NTSC one.
