Which games i can run?

Hello guys, For me, dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3 and smackdown here comes the pain are running very good. So i tried burnout revenge, i barely got 5 fps. Why so? some games run very good. same with call of duty 3. So which games i can run if smackdown and dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3 is running very good in your opinion?


My pc
cpu= 3 ghz core 2 duo e8400
ram= 3 gb ddr2
Graphic card= nvidia GTX 260 896mb

I wanted to play following, so if you point out specific games which has no chance to run, those games i will not buy.

Burnout 3 takedown

I guess burnout 3 takedown will not run as burnout revenge didn't run? I see you already mentioned GT 4, so any racing game which are nice won't run imo?

The FF games is not expected to run Vmax(perfect+real time) FPS....it will run most of the time around 1/2 FPS

Was Burnout 3 one that ran better with software rendering?

You should think about overclocking your CPU. It will make a serious difference.

i played 2 in hardware with no issues. so it could be 3.

Nope 3 working fine here. It is demanding but no an E8400 will NOT get 5 fps.

Maybe OP is using an older revision or something.

I'd swear one of those Burnout games ran best with a SW renderer, at least at some point before. Same thing with CoD3, IIRC.

I am too noob to do cpu overclocking
last time i tried GPU overclocking and burned my smps as it was from bad brand tho but after that i decided that i won't try overclocking stuff
Burnout 3 takedown running fine with direct x 10 hw rend. but i gets golden alternate band from screen like due to sun light in game. So not playable with annoying gold bands all over screen. I tried to change all setting but it won't go and in sw rend, it won't run nice as in hw rend.
About 5 fps, i saw, i did mistake in burnout revenge as i find it in burnout 3 takedown, i had setting 6x native in burnout revenge thats why i was getting 5 fps. in dragonball z and smackdown 6x native works fine and gives better graphics then ps2 on tv. So i forgot to change that setting while trying revenge on pc. 2x native in burnout 3 takedown giving me 30-40 fps but with golden thick bands in all screen.
Which tekken you guys thinks can run, like if not 4, 5 then 3 might have chance?

PS, i tried mtvu hack version and wow burnout 3 takedown and revenge both is burning everything in 3x native nice in it haha

You can get rid of the sun light effect by using skipdraw 1 or 2.
