Did this question really need to be asked??
Windows 11 64 bit OS
Intel Core i7-10700 Geforce RTX 2060 6GB 32 GB DDR4 RAM

just continue 1.4.0 no need 1.5.0 or simply just use official release.

The recommended version is always going to be the latest 'stable' release. In this case that's 1.4.0.
It should be noted however, that some bugs might have gotten fixed in the developer versions (1.5.0-dev-xxxx), so if you encounter a buggy game, give the latest developer build from here a try to see if it works on there. AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.60~4.20 GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Super @ 6 GB | Samsung 980 1TB | Windows 10 Pro x64 (22H2)

Did drgn seriously suggest to not try the dev builds that have fixes for some broken games? I thought he was being sarcastic (I hope)
