Why is a 2d game's Snapshot sharper than Actually playing it on the Emulator?

I think so... You could try it and see.

I see. May I ask what is so special about "4"? How come it is "4" that removes the blur?

I have no idea exactly... that might be something to ask the devs.

But still, How did you figured out it was "4"? I would never thought that "4" is the lucky number.

I took the PrintScreen shot and the F8 snapshot, and noticed that the printscr shot appeared zoomed in, compared to the F8 shot.

My assumption was that pcsx2 was cropping off the image then scaling it back up, so I played around with the window sizes until I got it down correctly.

Wow. So I guess the emulator was cropping it at "4" pixels and then scaling it back up. We Need to let the DEVELOPERS know about this entire topic. Where are they?

Yes, in current PCSX2 0.97.3878 beta, "Fit-to-window" mode is cropping 4 pixels and then scaling to fit the window, and that creates this blur (doesn't happen in 4:3 or in 16:9 modes).

Next release will include proper zoom control and will not have this 4-pixels issue (already fixed at the svn).

Thanks for the report.
