Why won't my laptop run games well

That score output isn't in the format I'm expecting.. and is WAYYY lower than I'd expect in that processor.

Mind posting a screen cap of the test you ran?

er... it's not precise enough. please screenshot gsdx config and post it here.
this i don't get why. let's focus on MK SM for now. it may be a good for other games.
Okay sorry I had something to do real quick that's why I wasn't  able to tell you exactly. Here you go:

I checked my power settings.
I set the minimum CPU power to 100% and the max to 100% now when plugged in.
This really seemed to help in Mortal Kombat and I get 60 FPS now in the intro it drops to 99% speed for a sec but that's okay.
When the game is in more demaning areas I suspect frames will drop though.
Do you think the PAL version would be better considering it runs at max 50FPS?
Time Splitter runs smooth to but there is one type of zombie that explodes and blood splatters everywhere and that's where my FPS drops to 53 or so but everything else plays fine and other enemies don't affect my FPS

OK, so I think you got the best there.
If you don't own it yet, buying the pal version probably won't bring you more. No need to spend money twice on a game
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go
