Wierd Screen effect, help.

hello, a wierd screen effect happening in rules of rose, and i think in others games too ( i tried Silent hill 4 some months ago )

I just don't know how to fix it, nor how to call this effect, thanks for helping me.

It's called film grain / film noise.
If you don't like it, you can reduce it in the options menu, or turn it off completely with this code bundled with the widescreen hack.
