Wiki Editing (post 1.7 and plugins)
#1
Hi there, long time PCSX2 user and first time poster here.

I use a Steam Deck and wanted to update the page for Gran Turismo 4 with my configuration, but the test configuration layout confuses me. I've read the how to contribute guide, but since plugins are gone after 1.7, how do I fill out those portions? Is there a canonical way?

So far I have this:

Code:
{{TestingEntry
|Status=2
|Region=PAL
|OS=SteamOS 3.5.7
|CPU=AMD Custom APU (Steam Deck)
|GPU=AMD Custom APU (Steam Deck)
|Revision=1.7.5034
<spoiler show="Settings" hide="Hide">
* '''EE/IOP:'''
** Clamping Mode: Full
</spoiler>
|Graphics=Renderer: OpenGL (Hardware)
|Sound=
|Comments=Runs at full speed past 3x native scaling, except in levels where the sun is visible, or it's night time, then software rendering is needed. Recently switched to an older build due to a persistent crash during longer races.
|Tester=LevelDown280
}}

Any help appreciated.

The way you have it right now is fine. If you want you can still put down non-default settings you were using for the Graphics settings, etc.

Example:
Code:
<spoiler show="Settings" hide="Hide">
* Renderer: Vulkan
** Internal Resolution: 3x Native
** Texture Filtering: Bilinear (PS2)
** Anisotropic Filtering: 16x
</spoiler>
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.60~4.20 GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Super @ 6 GB | Samsung 980 1TB | Windows 10 Pro x64 (22H2)
