Wild Arms 5 -Controller is not recognized

Wild Arms 5 slus 21615 boots perfectly but just flashes 'press start' on the screen. I've tried rebooting, switching from LilyPad 0.9.9 to SSSPSX PAD 1.7.0 and setting the start button to a keyboard key but none helped. Other games work fine.
Does anyone know how to resolve this? I searched for a while but found nothing related to my problem, I'm sorry if this has been covered before.

Try using a different sound plugin like ZeroSPU. Ghz and maybe SPU-X have issues with WA 4 and 5...

I can't seem to go further than the Start Screen..
I press Start button, changed the configuration but nothing works.
I want to play this game so badly, please someone help T_T
