Wild Arms: Alter Code F-- static ghost snapshots
#1
I want to apologize in advance if this thread isn't formatted correctly; this is my first time using this site.

I'm emulating Wild Arms: Alter Code F and most everything seems to be working correctly, except that during battles there will be semi-transparent images (pretty much a snapshot of the whole screen) ghosted over everything. The 'snapshots' are still images, not like an doubling of a moving image that I've heard referred to as 'ghosting'.

I may or may not be misunderstanding some of these terms here. but hopefully these images will paint a clearer picture than my explanation.

I think the changes tend to occur when moving from a brightly lit area to darker ones, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on and how I can fix it?

Thanks that does help a lot in the overworld, but in battle I still have to double switch between modes every 5 seconds.

I think I noticed something else, the ghost snapshots seem to happen after sudden camera changes, which might explain why most of them happen during battle and especially at the beginning of special attacks. I know in the original game you could turn the battle camera to 'fixed' and that would probably solve my problem, but I don't see that option in the menu : (
