Only this can make difference-You have to use WH Hacks in the Video gs-Plugins Configurations(Use wildarms offset),like i already said to you.
But like Donovan said putt snapshots of your settings.
About new version...Yeahh will be good you download a new version,but in this case not will make difference(will be better in other some games).

I reset things to start from scratch but I get this error. I guess I should download the official version I have 1.3.0 right now.

Plugin error...you installed in wrong folder,or yet disk location,its a error of directory organization.
Its better download again and if sure install in a folder if no problems,of course.

I installed 1.2.1 and reset it, and its still locking up.

Turned on HW hacks and wildarms offset and it still locks up, I did not change anything else from the default settings.

Looking on google it seems this might be a bug in the game itself as it appears on the PS3.

Mmmm anyone know how to get a save to work with the PS3, I could test it on mine.

I solved the puzzle but the glitch is rather strange.

AAh,okey sometimes happen in some games.
Ah do not forget to maintain Turned on HW hacks and wildarms offset for not more any problem(relacioned if the emulator)
