Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

hello. i just downloaded the portable version and it's working fine now though i couldn't use the AVX2 option for the GS however it is working on SSE2 which is im using now to play FFXII. Thank you for making making this page. It's very helpful.

Yes im using AMD. My pc specs is AMD A6 6400k APU with Radeon HD graphics 3.90Ghz, 4gb ram, A6 mobo. im no longer using a vidoe/graphic card since my cpu can handle it and it runs FFXII in 40-60 fps with a very minimal 30fps drop.

That CPU doesn't have AVX instructions set, nor SSE4.1.
you'll be stuck with sse2

Thats fine as long as i can play final fantasy series. By the way, does AVX/AVX2 option is much better than SSE2? I just wanna know since I dont know the difference between those options.
I just checked it as well. It does support avx instructions But the portbale version of pcsx2 does not have a GS option for AVX(only AVX2 which does not support my cpu). anyways, it's all good and running smoothly so thats fine. And by the way is there a way that I can import my save files on portable pcsx2 on 1.4.0 version?
