Windows 11 and Pcsx2

Just a while ago, people were saying that pcsx2 is in the clear because Microsoft will never drop 32-bit support, now we know better, Microsoft is officially dropping 32-bit support with windows 11 as it is a 64-bit only operating system, what will dropping 32-bit support mean to pcsx2, will pcsx2 finally make the leap to 64-bit? or will it never come to windows 11?

To be clear: They are just dropping 32-bit OS, but 64-bit has no trouble doing 32-bit and 64-bit applications. Besides in 2021 everyone should have no more 32-bit OS unless you have like 4GB RAM and other weak specs. It should still work fine though in the future we will probably switch to 64-bit (although the CI and in effect the codebase itself is 64-bit compatible). Windows relies on backwards compatability anyway from the business side, which has it draws and pros on it's own.

0h that makes things clear, but wouldn't you agree that if pcsx2 goes 64-bit it will allow it to use more cores and utilize more ram potentially increasing performance?

more cores->no. it has nothing to do with pcsx2 being x64
more RAM->yes. it will allow pcsx2 to use more. problem : pcsx2 doesn't need much ram (around 500Mb sometimes, rarely more)
