Would changing the windows Visual Effects to "Adjust for best performance" help make pcsx2 run faster (higher fps). Also is there anything else I can do in windows 10 to help pcsx2 performance, I usually have all programs closed but I'd like to get as much out of my pc as I can.
Thanks

I am not sure but I would say it decreases the joy. If you use this settings you probably disable windows aero. If you disable windows aero you disable vsync. By that you can get screen tearing. So I would really suggest to keep aero on.

So just windows aero will decrease performance or will any of the other visual effects help performance.

I think it is neglectable what you gain but I haven't benchmarked it.
If you are hunting for fps you should consider using older versions of pcsx2.

Really I thought the latest version would be better. The game is Gran Turismo 3.
BTW i'm confused about EE%, GS% and VU% could you explain what those are and what sort of numbers I should look for.
