While using PCSX2, windows 7 in all it's infinite wisdom decided to enable compatibility mode settings for PCSX2. I am running PCSX2 in portable mode. I right clicked on the program in the folder and it does not have a compatibility tab and I can find no other means to turn compatibility off for the program in Windows 7. Now the game is running way too fast, and the settings I was using before were working just fine. PCSX2 ran normally before compatibility assistant stuck it's stupid nose in and gummed up the works. I have since disabled compatibility assistant but PCSX2 is still running way too fast with whatever settings it put on PCSX2. Please help.

Sounds like you turned the frame limiter off, have you tried pressing f4 while the game is running?

Thank you.
I pressed the F4 key with the game running and it solved the problem.
Thanks

As previously stated I right clicked on the program in the folder and it does not have a compatibility tab and I can find no other means to turn compatibility off for the program in Windows 7. Does Windows 7 have any hidden compatibility settings for programs?
