So I have been trying for years now to get PCSX2 to run games properly with very little success.
I have no talent with settings and bios or any of the techy stuff, but i am told my computer 'Should' be able to run the emulator perfect, yet it does not.

I am going to put down ALL of my pc specs below and my current settings..... Please, someone, anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Sad

Your CPU is a bit weak for pcsx2. What game are you trying to run ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

i edited it into the end of the post i only really wish to run those 3 games

an AMD FX -6300 Six-Core Processor 3.50 GHz is too weak? I am able to run the Resident Evil 2 Remake, Witcher 3 and most modern games smoothly on it, i thought it would be more than enough Sad

Comparing native PC gaming to emulation is a nonsense.
Your CPU's is barely around 1400.
Dunno about dead aim, but primal definitely require one with Str around 2000.
Try over clocking to 4.0 GHz to grab a few more fps.
But don't expect miracles.

Better keep playing those on your PS2 for now

if i still owned a PS2 I wouldnt need an emulator
I do not understand why you call it nonsense being those programs require far more processing power than the emulator says it requires (which most people have claimed you only need a dual core 2.8)

sadly I wont be overclocking, I don't have the money to replace my pc if something goes wrong so I cant really afford to risk it.

If PCSX2 requires that much power to run people really should not claim that it takes so much less Sad

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
