Would appreicite some help with settings please

Hello, I'm a total noob to pcsx2 and was wondering if you guys could help me choose settings for the best quality for star ocean till the end of time and Dragon quest VIII. Here's what I set in my settings but I really don't know what I'm doing XD
Render - Direct3d11(hardware)
resolution - 1920x1080
checked texture filtering and 8-bit textures also edge AA
MSAA - 16x

Hardware:
cpu - i7-3770k
gpu -gtx680 lightning
ram - 8gb
storage - ssd

Enable shadeboost and put all three sliders to 60%(or as you want ). And use sweetfx(i dunno sweetfx work with pcsx2 or not but you can give the try).

Start with x4 native, it should be crisp enough for your resolution really
