I am trying to play Persona 3 FES and Persona 4. Here are my system specs:

Nvidia GTS 250 1GB
4 GB RAM
Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.5 GHZ
5.1 Surround Sound Soundcard

For some reason I can't get it configured correctly. I get slow downs during battle and crowded scenes. I have seen youtube vids of the game running at perfect full speed. Any pointers on how to configure? I have only been using this for a few weeks so I am still new...

Youtube vids usually have the video running at fullspeed no matter what was the actual gameplay speed was.

I am using the PCSX2 0.9.7 beta with the plugin august pack.

SSSE3 GSDX 0.1.16 DX10 1440x900 hardware
SPU2-X 1.4.0

Everything else is default...

You can use SSe4 plugin it will give you some speed up however the games you are trying to run require atleast 2.9Ghz CPU Overclocking maybe your solution...........

If it's one of the earlier core 2 quad CPUs, SSE4 won't be available.

Overclocking the CPU to around 3 or 3.2Ghz will be a very nice speedup.
