XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
Having trouble with this. On my old 32-bit W7 PC, it worked perfectly fine. But on my new PC, which is a 64bit W7, my controller isn't being detected. The 4 lights flash for a bit, then they turn off. Pressing the XMB button doesn't do anything. I've installed the latest 1.2 360 drivers (though they don't appear in the device manager or devices and managers list, just the accessories program), plugged in the controller, had it install the default drivers, then run the program in admin mode, leaving forced install unchecked, and run it, but it doesn't work.

By the way, does plugging the USB cable into a 2.0 or 3.0 slot make any difference?

Sorry if it has been mentioned before but I could not find it via search. Just want to know if Asus BT400 (Bluetooth 4.0, backward compatible) is compatible with Xinput Wrapper and also same question as the previous 2 poster above, is it possible to install the driver for a specific bluetooth dongle instead of installing to all dongles that are connected?

Thanks!

I also bought this exact dongle from Amazon and it worked after I add the hardware ID in the BthWinUsb.inf file.

Under [SCProductions.NTx86] and [SCProductions.NTamd64] add the line
%DeviceName% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0B05&PID_17CB
then save it and install the software with "force install" checked. I manage to connect both my DS3 wireless and they both worked without any problems.
I have this software installed on Windows 7 x64.
Thanks for this! I got it working via USB so far. Tried adding the hardware IDs to the BthWinUsb.inf but installation was not successful.

USB\VID_03F0&PID_D104&REV_0112
USB\VID_03F0&PID_D104

Those are my hardware IDs.
Hi and thanks for this very good piece of software.

I've an issue having it working AFTER a reboot or a sleep on Win 8.1 x64.

Since my Hardware ID isn't in the list (USB\VID_13D3&PID_3362 and USB\VID_13D3&PID_3362&REV_0001, Atheros built-in adapter), I added it in the .inf file, reboot in "advanced mode" for disabling the Driver Signature Enforcement then I installed it.

At this point everything works perfectly.

The problem come each time I reboot or put the PC to sleep, after that there is no way to pair the DS3 with the bluetooth adapter. USB still working.

Here is the logs :

Hi, I have a minor annoyance. Sorry if this has been answered before, but this thread is massive. I was wondering how to switch L2/R2 with L1/R1.

Again, apologies if I just flat out missed someone answering this in the first page of the thread or whatever.

Try installing it again (unistall it first of course) but this time check the "force install" box before clicking the install button. If it doesn't help then I recommend you to read the thread from page 62 onwards or at least my previous posts.
Hello everyone!
I'm having trouble with installing the DS3 and I'm sorry if this has been asked about before. However I cannot find any solutions even till now.

My PC is running with Windows7 64bit and I installed motioninjoy before trying to use SCP, however it cannot recognize the DS3 even the service has started

-I install the DS3 via USB, I pressed force install and connected the DS3 to the PC throughout the whole installation process
-I have tried to uninstall the motioninjoy COMPLETELY as someone mentioned that it will work, and even I did it doesn't work (with disk cleanup and delete the remaining files of MiJ manually)
-I have disabled driver signature enforcement when I was installing SCP
-the controller can be recognized before SCP was installed, the configuration menu shows up in Devices and Printers -> Game Controllers -> Properties however the windows only consider it as charging before running the SCP driver

Is there anyone that knows the problems and solutions? Thanks!

*The PS3 controlled cannot be recognized as Human Interface Device, but USB DS3 Device

Hi, forgot to say i also tried Force install it seems it said it installed 2 things DS3 thing and one more but it didn't appear in scpservice or Game Controller list.
I did read a couple of pages which suggested i should right click it and click unblock on everything did that still no progress :/
I first tried with bluetooth but it didn't work and uninstalled everything then tried loads of times with different things with usb, il read page 62 onwards now and see if i find something that will fix it for me, thanks
