When I try to test the inputs in the Game Controller Settings, no controllers are available to choose from. Yet it still shows up in Devices as PLAYSTATION® 3 CONTROLLER. In another port the device was unrecognized, the port I am using currently is the only one that will recognize it as a game controller. I have tried uninstalling the USB DS3 drivers and reinstalling but no dice, same problem. Any ideas?
I am off to a better start with this program vs motion joy for I haven't gotten a BSOD yet, lol.

Help.. No matter what I do, it won't detect it as ''Xbox 360 Controller for Windows''... Even after everything I did, it's still PLAYSTATION®3.. ;-;
I've done so many things now, I don't know anymore..
I even tried the stupid unblocking thing from 2 pages ago but NOTHING WORKS!
I see a stupid USB icon in my tray but whenever I check it, I only see ''PLAYSTATION®3'' and NOTHING else!
Edit: Oh, and in services.msc, the SCP DS2 service is not enabled and I can't start it either.. ;(
I also can't install the Xbox 360 controller thing.. It gives me an error at the end and doesn't finish the installation, although I still get the 360 accessoires thing.. Help me, please.

Would it be possible to add USB\VID_13D3&PID_3404 to the list of supported bluetooth adapters?
As it is now I have to start my computer with driver signing disabled and re-install everytime I want to use it over wireless.
Thanks.

Hey everyone, new to the forums.
I have a problem with using the drivers. Even after I disconnect, my PC thinks that it's still connected - if you go into game controllers, it still says "Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)" with an "OK" status.
This wouldn't be a problem, except that I play some racing games with a steering wheel and if the game thinks that the DS3 is connected too then I need to recalibrate my controls.
So far the only way I can fix the problem is with a reboot, which isn't really ideal...
