Thanks again for making this tool. I have a question regarding bluetooth operation.

My controller works when connected to USB just fine. When I disconnect, it connects fine to bluetooth. When I'm in a game and I walk around with the analog stick, it works fine. The problem is when I start pressing more buttons like analog + attack. The controller disconnects (light shuts off) and then I need to press the PS button to reconnect it.

Can you give me an idea on fixing this?
sry if I have accidentally posted smthing similar before. Sad
here is my server Log... controller working fine on USB but on bth its not connecting Sad the controller blinks nd shuts down. my dongle is supported nd the drivers were installed tight away.. it is supported nd is displayed in scpserver . I click on pairing option nd wen I remove usb controller disconnects.. I press the ps button to connect in bth mode. this LOG shows up.

one more problem. when im connecting my controller the scp monitor is detecting the device but scpserver is not showing it ???
(01-13-2014, 05:13 AM)Ashnal Wrote: It is impossible to pair both a PS3 controller and another standard bluetooth device to the same bluetooth device as SCP has to rewrite the bluetooth stack for compatibility with the DS3. It's one or the other. You can however purchase a second bluetooth device and have one set up for your keyboard with the other set up for the DS3.

Thanks for the hint, but I cannot get it running. I tried it the following way:

1. Plug in Bluetooth-Device 1 for the PS3 Controller
2. Install the XInput Wrapper
3. Plug in Bluetooth-Device 2 for the Keyboard

But unfortunately the second device is also deactivated. When I install the Bluetooth-software from the second device, the changes of the wrapper are overwritten and the PS3 controller does not work anymore.

Is there a special order I have to execute the installations or is there an option I have to choose so I get both the PS3 controller and the keyboard running?
@lukeman3000, yep, thats the one! Keep in mind, the one bestbuy.com is selling is the latest (vid=0a12,pid=0001,revision=8891) revision of the chipset, so it might be worth the extra 3.99 to get it from there. (who knows how long sellers through amazon.com have had their stock.)
Actually, bestbuy.com is selling it for $13.99 + free shipping, amazon.com is selling it for $10.99 + free shipping if you order over $35 worth of stuff. Once you get to bestbuy.com type in trendnet bluetooth and its the first item in the list.

The driver can be uninstalled, and you'll regain normal use of the bluetooth dongle.

best regards,
- dink
Unfortunately, you do not have a genuine PS3 controller, and this program only works with the real ones.. This line:

2014-01-19 12:41:17.493 -- Remote Name : 00:1E:3DLaughE:3F:9E - PLAYSTATION®3Conteroller-ghic

Means it is a fake controller, or 'aftermarket' version. Hopefully someone will create a version that works with all controllers one of these days.
The Dohitchy is there so you can attach the Whatchamacallit to the Thingamabob.
when i installed xinput wrapper my games suddenly stutters after 5 min into playing the game, can somebody fix this?
Everything installs fine on my end. Installation shows "success" on everything, just like the screenshot on original post. When plugged on USB, the controller works just fine.

However, monitor shows "Host Address: <error>". When I unplug the controller from the USB, it just keeps blinking and never actually connects. Also, I have to take power chord off the PS3, because if I don't, removing the controller from the usb turns on the PS3 instead of syncing with the PC (already tried clicking and holding the reset button behind the controller, it does turn of the controller, but doesn't unsync from the PS3 for some reason).

I tried rebooting many times, tried connecting and disconnecting USB and bluetooth many times, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, force installing etc. It always shows "Host Address: <error>" on the monitor and doesn't pair with the controller. DS3 is official by the way, and I've tested with three different controllers.

Another detail: it seems ScpServer recognizes my bluetooth, because when I turn it off and on again (it's internal bluetooth from a notebook), the log registers that the bluetooth device was disconnected and connected.

HID from bluetooth is USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001 (supposed to be supported).

Can anyone help?
Somebody PLEASE help me. I cannot find a damn fix for this ''setup cannot continue because an unexpected error has occurred'' for the Xbox 360 drivers! My controller is a legit PS3 controller that came with a legit PS3! I completely uninstalled everything from motioninjoy and I tried both of my USB ports on the front, and I have my controller plugged in when I do the installation, but when it says the setup is complete, I press OK, and then I get this ''setup cannot continue because an unexpected error has occurred xbox 360 controller'' error! I tried to ignore that once but when I did that I couldn't even install this wrapper! It would say it installed successfully but my controller won't even be detected! Someone please help me!
