XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller

Select the Details tab, select Hardware Ids from the drop down.

Run Zadig, as described in Post #1851. In Step 8 select the device that matches the Hardware Id on the Details tab.

Well its really close...but something is still not right. Still better than no change Tongue

Here is what I did and the result on the monitor after a reboot, reinstall, reboot.

Also I would have given you the Hardware IDs if you needed them but the previous driver was erased after using Zadig and I'm not sure how I would get it.

@DatPrat: ok, can you reboot your PC, then zip up your ScpService.log and post as an attachment.

Code:
public enum Ds3Battery : byte { None = 0x00, Dieing = 0x01, Low = 0x02, Medium = 0x03, High = 0x04, Full = 0x05, Charging = 0xEE, Charged = 0xEF };

Your controller shows 241 (decimal) => 0xF1.

I highly doubt that any firmware localisation would change an enumeration constant.

When a genuine DS3 shows strange behaviour it is usually fixed by a pinhole reset. Do you feel a slight click when you press the reset button?

OMG ExclExclExclExclExcl I finally made it Work the solution was so stupid.

So I was completely puzzled of why I was unable to use the controller on BT but was working perfectly fine on USB.
The responsible was the USB cable I was using. I was about 10 secs away of opening the Gamepad to see why the hell this was not working.
I mean it is a new Gamepad, on mint condition, 1 week old Laugh purchased on an Official Sony Store and it was not working Blink also of course the dongle I have is compatible with this Software. The light at the end of the tunnel was that damn number 241 on the battery status. According to Scarlet that meant that something was wrong with the battery.

When I plugged the controller on the USB port the number 1 led blinked for like 15 secs while the monitor said charging and then it lit solid with the 241 number, I thought that number + solid light meant fully charged, but I was wrong.
With a philips screwdriver in my hand and about to open the damn thing to see if there is actually a battery inside or if it is not connected or if there is a cut wired on it, something stopped me, and I remembered that I had another mini USB cable from and old cell phone, so I said to myself why not ? its easier to test that than to disassemble this thing.
As soon as I plugged the controller with the new cable something different happened the red light on led number 1 did not stop blinking after 10 secs it continued blinking for 2 hours.

What did this mean ? that the other damn cable even if it allowed me to play with the controller through USB and also allowed the controller to be recognized by windows it wasn't allowing to charge the damn thing.
So of course when I unplugged the gamepad to see if it will pair with the dongle since it never received a charge in the first place of course it will never pair because the battery was on CERO and of course without energy the controller will never pair/work Laugh
So with the new cable after 2 hours of charging when I unplugged the cable BAM !! Laugh in less than 3 secs it was paired with the dongle Smile

Since I don't own a PS3 I didn't have the option to check if the controller was OK or if it was charged, I was relying on the idea that the controller was fine and the cable was a good one.

So yeah its strange that a cable work in half, because if it would have never worked in the first place I would have picked the other cable long ago. But this cable was working at 50 %.

So I wanted to share this experience maybe it would help someone that is struggling with this, maybe like me it doesn't have a console to test the gamepad and it is just testing it on a PC for the first time.

So apparently the controller gets its power from a different lane on the cable that is not the one where data goes ?

So Scarlet what about:

public enum Ds3Battery : byte { Change the Cable Bro !! = 0xF1 };

LaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh Just Joking !!

Anyways thx Scarlet for this great Software !!

Hi,

He wanted to know whether what you have to put in post # 1851. Ensures that any bluetooth work properly. I was thinking of buying one so that it can use, but most I find are with CSR chipset.

That's great to hear, thanks for all the support! Smile
Hi guys, first of all thank you for putting effort into making this tool.

I have downloaded and followed the installation steps as specified the first post and it was working fine, then i uninstalled the motioninjoy and after the restart it doesn't work anymore. I tried to uninstall and reinstall again but still didn't work. It doesn't recognize my controller as xbox360 it just shows Generic usb joystick.

Please guide me, after using this only for 1 day, i don't want to go back to motioninjoy.

i am running win7 64-bit.

Thankyou in advance.
Hi. I posted before but I've been constantly trying to see if I can fix my own problem with nothing seemingly helping me on my end of what I've tried to do. I'm using Windows vista 64 and a usb corded ps3 controller. It either freeezes my computer with the service on before the 360 controller drivers are installed still or bluescreens my computer if I turn the driver on after the 360 controller driver is installed. I'd really like to use this over motionjoy. Anything else needed to help me fix this problem I'd gladly give you the information. I just don't have the ability or money to get a actual 360 controller and all other options aren't really good except this one currently.
hi

thing goes like this.
i remember using this on my previous rig and loving it, since most of it got burned to a crisp i got a new 1 and tried to install it...
[Image: scperror_zps65bd99cf.png]
no matter what i try, no matter what version i try (have tried 1.1.0.136 1.1.0.139 and 1.0.0.103) it wont move from that 'Host Address : Disconnected'
Checked the service, running, tried stopping and starting the service, tried rebooting a couple times, nothing

attached ScpControl.xml ScpDriver.log ScpService.InstallLog ScpService.InstallState ScpService.log on the zip

running 8.1 x64
edit: oh yeah, trying to run it on usb

Hey guys, just signed up to leave one note. I recently purchased the Snakebyte wired PS3 controller because my current official Sixaxis was old and had loose, leaning sticks. Didn't work at first, and I saw another post ITT mentioning it. Not sure if he managed to get it to work, but I managed to get it working by using the REAR USB hub as opposed to one on the front. Anyone else having troubles with a 3rd-party controller, make sure you try another hub before returning it.

That said I haven't had enough time with this controller to recommend it... but so far, it feels a little stiff and shoddy. Not sure if it'll end up failing in a few weeks. Also, the L2/R2 triggers are not very sensitive at all - they basically feel like buttons, and it's damn near impossible to lightly press it without sending the value to 255 instantly. I only bought this thing because the alternatives at the store were the $60 official, and the $25 "Rock-Candy" controllers that look really silly and uh, "feminine".
