XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
Hi. Thanks for this tool.
In my case it seems to work fine: I install everything in the same way that is explained in the post and I actually can use the DS3 in a game (with cable). So far so good.
My problem comes when I unplug the DS3, then I get BSOD (almost) every time I turn on the computer. I had to install a microsoft tool in order to solve this problem, starting in safe mode (which not always worked).
I tried two times and got the same.
Has anyone the same problem or any clue on this?
Thanks!

Those controllers pictured look identical to the "Panhai" controllers I have. The controllers work fine over USB. Bluetooth is tricky; I cannot get the controllers to connect, however poster "RayfenWindspear" has provided a modified .dll that works for some people (Bluetooth). Search the username "RayfenWindspear" to find his post containing the modified .dll. The first post to this thread has the installation and directions, the modified .dll should be applied after installing. I've posted to this thread a couple times the logs from my attempts in connecting these "Panhai" controllers over Bluetooth, they seem to communicate but do not connect. I'm hoping people with experience in writing a Bluetooth program like ScpDriver can help fix the issue, no luck as of yet. There might be two versions of this particular Ds3 fake (Panhai), as people here have had success using RayfenWindspear's modified .dll, while some like myself still have issues connecting our "Panhai's" over Bluetooth. There is also a "ghic" controller that looks just like the "panhai" fake, that works with Scp. Search for "ghic" or "panhai" in this thread, once you find out which particular fake it is. You will notice the way Scp recognizes your controller which type of fake it is; it will be spelled as "PLAYSTATION®3Conteroller-PANHAI" or "PLAYSTATION®3Conteroller-ghic" (notice the misspelling of "conteroller"). I bought mine for about $15 each from Amazon. They took over a month to arrive, but I'm satisfied with the build. Definite knockoff, not that bad in quality though. The D pad is great for nostalgic NES or SNES games, the thumb sticks aren't as well built as official ds3's, but they do work great on emulators. Not as sensitive as officials ds3 thumb sticks, built well but to sturdy compared to the real ds3. I'm guessing only a matter of time before somebody with the know how figures a way to get these controllers to work with Scp over Bluetooth, $15 controllers aren't that bad of a deal.
Hey guys I can't seem to get this to work...I have all DirectX, NET 4.0, VC 2013 and Xbox Drivers installed, but when I attempt to install the SCP Driver, for some reason it doesn't install everything that it should. I'm missing the SCP Service. Here's a screenshot of my installation. Anyways, I'm not using the bluetooth, just a DS3 with USB cable and I've tried checking and unchecking Force Install/Configuration. I've gotten this to work on my old computer, but now it doesn't :s Any help?

Specifically, it cannot wake it from sleep state. If I cannot get it to connect, I have to switch to the original driver and do a sleep/wake cycle and make sure it registers as ON.

It is simple to switch back and forth between the drivers once they are installed. Just head to the device manager and find the dongle in one of the USB sections near the bottom. Open it up and click update driver, but be sure to choose the option to browse the local machine for the driver. The SCP driver will say it has an Authenticode signature and the original driver will (probably) say it is officially signed.

hey, my controller works fine using this driver.
but, can I swap the rumble vibrator?
like when I test right vibrator the left one that will work, and when I test left vibrator the right one that will work.
right rumble = (soft and constant)
left rumble = (rough and heavy, the strength can be adjusted)
because I played Euro Truck Simulator 2 using my ds3 controller but the engine's rumble using the right side rumble which is soft and constant (can't swapped in game). and I want the left rumble for engine's rumble. So, when I revving engine the rumble will vibrate harder and when engine idle the rumble vibrate slowly just like real diesel truck.
when I using MotionInjoy the vibrators are already swapped. But I felt more comfortable with this driver.
I hope I can swap it.
sorry for my bad english.

Thank Thank Thank you!
Finally I bought a fake ps3 controller.
I did all things, all steps succeed.
ScpMonitor.exe shows my controller via usb/Bluetooth .
in SCPUser.exe all buttons are working.
But the strange thing is that joy.cpl shows no gamepad!
and the controller only works in scp tools . and not functioning in windows/games.
Please help.
Generally fake PS3 controllers have issues and may not work with the wrapper.

RayfenWindspear's modified .dll hasn't worked with with you either? Haven't had luck on mine.
Hey, im using 1.2.2.175 , So the Ds3 connects, but i can only vibrate it using the options in ScpServer, none of the buttons on the controller work When connected using BT, On connection with USB Vibration doesnt work but everything else works, all buttons work.
