Yeah, i saw your previous post. I have to sleep sometimes.

Is there a .inf file in the "xbox360\setup64\files\driver\win7" location as described in Lewy_737's post?

Hi Scarlet, I got this setup and working fine with my controller if it's connected by USB. I'm having issues with Bluetooth connectivity however. The HW ID for my BT dongle is USB\VID_0B05&PID_1783 (Rev_0001) and the monitor shows it connected but once I disconnect my USB it just says reserved and the controller(s) flash until they turn off. I uploaded my logs (saw you request that in this post):

Thank you in advance.

GOD. Spent hours searching keywords in the thread but all the cases of this issue are old. I got up off my lazy butt and switched the port it was plugged into...so windows "Atheros Valkyrie BootROM" and "BTH DS3 Device" again. After that I plugged my controller in and out and walla! Solved! Thank you for your hard work man. Time to go custom mapping.

There is..
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits (6.1, build 7601)
Processor: AMD A8-3800 APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~ 2.4 GHz
RAM: 4096MB = 4.1 GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti
Try running setuptb.exe (mentioned in the very last post of that thread). Otherwise, i have no other ideas, short of a fresh OS install.

Hope it helps.

Cheers!

Can you share your source code?
Hi, To start with i'd just like to say thanks to Scarlet for an excellent bit of software, struggled with motioninjoy till i found this Biggrin

I have been using it to connect my DS3 through USB and have had no problems, but i recently bought a Trust Bluetooth 4.0 USB adaptor model 18187, and I would like to use this to connect the DS3, but I don't see its hardware ID on your list.

Is this a supported dongle? if so can you add the hardware ID for it please?

Here is the link to the dongle:- http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=18187

Here is the hardware id:-
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8&REV_0112
USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8

Thanks Smile
First off I gotta thank Scarlet.Crush for taking his time for this and that I truly appreciate it.

Scarlet or anyone else that could help, I have been using the rocketfish bluetooth dongle micro usb (model#: RF-MRBTAD). It has been working great and was a smooth install from the beginning as well, never had any problems with SCP.

I haven't been using bluetooth for my ps3 controller lately so I wanted to return the dongle back to normal and use it for normal bluetooth purposes, so I thought all I would have to do is go to the SCP menu-thingy and uninstall the bluetooth drivers then my dongle would return to it's previous state. It didn't, it doesn't work anymore.

It worked normal when I bought it, it worked for the ps3 controller when I converted it via SCP. However, now when I decided to revert it back it didn't work.

This is what happens: When I plug it in, windows installs a generic bluetooth adapter, then the enumerator, and other drivers, everything is going good. However when it is time to install the 3 bluetooth peripheral device drivers it is only able to install the Bluetooth L2CAP interface one and the other 2 bluetooth peripheral devices never get installed. Windows says that it cannot find them. This did not happen before I used SCP to convert the dongle.

When I run the broadcom software stack thingy, like I did when I first bought it to enhance the bluetooth drivers for audio and what not, it detects my bluetooth but it is unable to validate my bluetooth device and thus unable to update bluetooth software so I am stuck.

I have tried looking all over the net and even plugging and installing multiple drivers into the peripheral device but nothing is working.

The bluetooth dongle is acting as if it is no longer compatible with Windows 7, and I have no idea why.
Hey I got this to work last night but when I closed my laptop and went to use it again this morning it no longer works with pcsx2. The controller shows it on player 1 and most of the buttons work when i go to test it but pcsx2 will not recognize anything. I used to have this problem with motionjoy but i would just hit enable and it would work I don't know why or how to do this. I don't really know to much about coding or anything like that
Registered just to thank the author of this amazingly better-than-motionjoy-crashing-system-if-I-did-anything

With motionjoy everything worked, but there were random times where plugging in the DS3 to charge would BSOD my PC!!!
I have yet to see that happen with this so its a win.
I've been using it to play FFXIVARR this entire time.
During maintenance I tend to explore games and I want to get back into games that can use the DS3 with or w/o xpadder and PSX and PS2 emus.

I've tried Vindictus, C9 and RaiderZ, but in every game, with the controller on and me not even touching it, the character walks endlessly to the left. this happens in evey game I've tested so far
recently got ePSXe and I cannot seem to calibrate the joypad/DS3 properly. all button changes get stuck on JOY_Left
So I loaded up Calibration from control Panel. and I cant even complete because the crosshair is always stuck at the edges, never centered.

Any idea whats up?

this doesnt happen when I use xpadder to map the buttons (WASD,mouse controll...etc) and in FFXIV this never happens and I dont use xpadder for it because it already hhas great controller support.
Never had this problem when I Calibrated with Motionjoy.
