XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
I've been having issues with SCP. If I try to play through blue tooth, the PS3 controller just randomly disconnects.

Hello to everyone,
I succesfully installed (again) the SCP Driver for my Windows 7 64bits. So I'm not asking for help about how to make it work because it already works. The question I want to ask is about what could happen in a possible scenario, so bear with me.

I have 2 OS in my HDD: Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.10. I like to use the ps3 controller via bluetooth on windows 7, so I would like to let the bluetooth dongle connected all the time, I mean not removing it after shutting down the pc, like we usually do with a mouse or keyboard. I want to do this to not wear down the physical port.

So my question is: if I let the bluetooth dongle connected all the time to the pc and load Ubuntu instead of Windows, will Ubuntu make my bluetooth dongle unusable for the ps3 controller once I load windows 7 the next time? I mean, will Ubuntu overwrite my bluetooth device so Windows will recognize it no more as a ps3 controller accesory?

I would appreciate your help, as you can notice I'm not an expert on these things and don't want to ruin my beautiful scp driver bluetooth installation, so I would like some advice before taking any risks. Thanks in advance to all of you.
Guys i still can't connect my controller through bluetooth how do i revert back so that i can reinstall?

That won't be a problem, I do the same thing. Besides, with most peripherals there is no "writing" done to the device itself, at least not the kind that would prevent it connecting with another computer/device.

Now that one I can help with. Apply my fix and it will work. Simply replace the SCPControl.dll and you should be dandy Smile

Can you provide the source code for your fix? I don't trust an .exe and .dll without source code.

It was a one liner to get it to do the service bypass with the PANAHI controller. Check back at that original post I linked to. I added the diff there. I myself didn't want to post the exe or dll, but the person I was directly talking with didn't care so I posted it anyway.
Is there a way to do an actual uninstallation of SCP Driver? I missed the warning about bluetooth not working after installation and now can't use my bluetooth dongle for anything else.

I assumed that uninstalling SCP Driver would undo the damage but uninstall must mean something else in this context. Also, I can't roll back the driver because I managed to go and uninstall it in trying to fix this and the roll back option is now grayed out.

Any advice?

Thanks.

EDIT: Somehow managed to undo the damage by uninstalling the dongle device from Device Manager about 130 times and then deleting random stuff from c:\Windows\System32\DriverStore. Good luck for anyone who's experiencing the same issues and finds this.

You will have to visit the vendor website and download the drivers there. Google the model number for the dongle and see where that leads you.
