This sounds like the problem I'm having as well. Everything works fine when I reinstall the drivers from ScpDriver but I have to run ScpDriver everytime I restart or shut down my PC.

Okay I tried reinstalling Windows 10, and now everything works perfectly. Idk what caused it, but it's fixed now.
So, will the BT driver persist with windows 10? Seeing as you need to hide the driver update in Windows Update to keep it from overwriting the SCP BT driver, however in Windows 10 it will force you to install updates. Or does that not apply to optional updates?
@Nefarius,
Im using windows 10. have installed the drivers, the controllers works with cable, but not with bluetooh. Can you help me?

You can use this How to temporarily prevent a Windows or driver update from reinstalling in Windows 10
Hi, there I seem have 2 a similar + well treated issue, that is my controller wich is to say a brand new sony branded fake one, Wink wont connect with the bluetooth dongle.... it works well with the cable and SCPMonitor says its paired too, but when i pull the cable it only says its reserved and disconnect. I installed everything perfectly with SCPDriver and after sett with Zading ( not only once! ) pushed the reset butten at every opportunity, the bth even seems to respond when hit the ps butten, and SCPServer says connection complete.. anyway i got the log there .... oh i got also win 10 now? ..
Even if it is a fake controller i remember having it work a couple of years ago with an identical one with motionjoy+sixasis (fails now aswell) .... would be great if some one could help, ore just comment the log. Thanks!!

For some reason, I had to unblock the 7z ARCHIVE after downloading, and not the individual files once they'd been extracted. I didn't think of that until just now....fair warning to others.

I already highlighted this step in the Installation How-to  Tongue

Please check if a service named SCP DS3 Service is present in the services console. If not (and you are running my build; version 1.3.x), open an elevated command prompt, navigate to your Scp-folder like so:

Code:
cd "C:\Program Files\Scarlet.Crush Productions"

and execute the following command:

Code:
ScpService.exe --install

After this, the service should be back in the services console.
So i'm having an issue with my new dongle with the new version of the driver.
The driver is installed over the proper dongle, showing up as BTH DS3 in device config. however no matter what i'm not getting a bluetooth connection.
These are store bought official DS3 controllers i am using if it matters

Any steps i can take? controller functions fine with USB

EDIT: it's a cirago BTA6310 with VID USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001
if it helps

EDIT2:
Looking at the SCP Server program i am getting the following:
%PathToSCPServer.exe%
%PathToSCPControl.dll%
%OSInformation%
-- Bus Open: Offset 0
-- Bus Open: Path \\?\ROOT#SYSTEM#0001#{stringvalue} (if the value is important i can type it out, but it's long)
LastError = 5

Intel Core i7-8700k @5ghz
G.Skill 16GB DDR4 @3600mhz

Getting this when attempting to pair a DS4 over Bluetooth on Windows 10 (using your build Nefarius)

(The error that is cropped off is line 183)

Pairing a DS3 over bluetooth seems to be working fine and DS4 works over USB, but no joy with DS4 over bluetooth
