Is it possible to run Xenosaga ep 1 at the maximum speed (60fps) with the latest pcsx2's version?

Yeah, but it takes a hefty system.

CPU 2.30 GHZ
RAM 4 GB

Well I don't know which 2.3 Ghz CPU, but certainly no.

Example of a CPU that will work with minor slowdown:

AMD FX 6300 @ 4.4Ghz

Example of a CPU that will work with almost no slowdown:

Intel i5-4690k @ 3.5Ghz

Yeah, I can tell you exactly how that chip will perform:

Cutscenes: 40 FPS
Normal Battles: ~45 FPS
Mech Battles: ~ 20 FPS.

When I played the game, I used the Constant skipping: 4, 4; 2, 4; 2, 0 (I don't understand these meanings precisely. Smile)

And there are also these cheats if you like.

with my old dualcore I could run Xenosaga I around 50 to 55ish fps myself.

^ I find that odd, but then, what version of PCSX2? Any speedhack?

I played at 4.12 Ghz with my 6300 and I got 53-55FPS in cutscenes, 60 FPS in gameplay and battles, and 30 FPS in mech battles. No speedhacks. And no MTVU b/c it caused slow down for me with Xenosaga.
