Xenosaga 1 Widescreen Problems Please Help

Setting the aspect ratio to 16:9 in the GS Window settings will do a stretch.

What can cause these lines in the FMV at the top? Is this a result of being stretched or my window settings? About the only thing I've not nailed down for my game.

It's an emulation issue. Go to Config > Emulation Settings > GS Window, and set zoom tot 101%. This should remove the line from view.

its already set to 16:9... the videos wont stretch unless I install the cheat.. but when I do that the gameplay is 4:3 stretched.

are you able to get 16:9 gameplay while also stretching the videos full screen? I cant get it to work no matter what I do... I tried completely uninstalling PCSX2 and messing with all the settings like what am I missing??????

Which part? Because I did all of that... OK.... heres one for you... get this game to run 16:9 gameplay and 4:3 video(not stretched) and then get it to run 16:9 gameplay and 4:3 video (stretched) and then tell me what you did...

OK! So I got it to work. I downloaded PCSX 1.2.1 and the only way it worked was downloadingthe widescreen .pnach and in the menu options selecting Enable Cheats and deselecting Enable Widescreen Patches.... couldnt get it to work for nothing in PCSX 1.4.0
