Xenosaga 2 freezes before boss fight

Hello everyone!
I was playing with Xenosaga Ep. 2
And i solved the issue that the gamne freezes before the boss fight.
But i beat the boss on SC Domain (Winter) [Albedo]
And after the fight , there should be a cut scene .
But i only get a black screen.

Had it to do with this error:

CDVD READ ERROR, sector = 0x0020fb0e

Do anyone know how to solve this problem?
I use the PCSX2 r5216

I hope someone can help me.

that does look like a bad dump.
did you try from your DVD or did you dump an iso ?
try both...

i tried both and both bring me to the same conclusions...

does the DVD work well on, your PS2 ?

no my ps2 got problems with the laser
thats why i dump my games to play it on pcsx2
Xenosaga 1 was fully playable without inteructions.
i think it makes sense to buy this game again ...

if the dvd is broken, then theres no way to fix it...

unfortunately, no.
Maybe you can find a cheap copy on ebay or amazon ...
