Xenosaga Ep.1 issue

So today I tried to go on in the game but I came across a issue that I can't seem to get passed. Maybe some outside opinions will help. The screen shot available shows while in the movie it keeps doing like a loop of the scene. I can pause and skip the movie but end up with a black screen with the radar showing in the second screen shot. Anyone know how to fix this? EDITon't know why the images appear the way they do sorry about that
