Xenosaga Episode 1 Slowdown?
#1
I want to stream this on my twitch but some cinematics have an odd slowdown.

It's not the emulator slowing down; it's still floating at around 57-61 FPS the whole time. Also the voice acting is NOT slowing down. So I end up with the scene playing 5+ seconds BEHIND the voice acting)

I'm using an Nvidia GTX 1070, with 16,260MB approx total ram, 8088MB display, and 8172MB shared.
My processor is an Intel i7 -7700k CPU @ 4.20GHz (8 CPUs)

My pcsx settings are:
Adapter: The video card
Renderer: Direct3D11 (Hardware)
Interlacing: Auto

Internal Resolution: Native (I had it on 2x for Wild ARMS 5 but fixed SOME slowdown for Xenosaga by turning it off, but not ALL slowdown)
Texture Filtering: Bilinear (PS2)
Anistropic Filtering: Off
CRC Hack Level: Full (Safest)
Enable HW Hacks: Unchecked (To turn of Wild ARMS Offset)

What else can I do to fix the slowdown? Is it the ISO itself? Because, as I said; the FPS stays around 60, even while the cinematics slow down.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Oof. I did not realize I was that out of date. Let me run the game again and see what happens.

Looks like updating fixed it!
Thank you again; I'll try Wild ARMS 5 later and see if updating fixed my issues with that one, too.
