Yet another bug with FFX

Sad
Hello all!

I have a serious bug with FFX similar to the Auron look bug and the Al bhed Home curruption. Its at the end When your about to fight Yunalesca. There is a long cutscene before the fight and thats when the emulator crashes (I see severe graphics curruption before it crashes) I tried many things I had a similar bug at the albhed Home attack... so I uploaded my memory cards to someone to try on there machine to get my game advance to the next same... so Im asking for anyone who has the game to volunteer and beat the crap outta Yunalesca with my saved game on your machines cuz I cant advance any futher in the cutscene before the emulator dies. Please help me

My memory card is attached bellow I just need to get to the next save I guess after beating Yunalesca.

Thank you in advance!

Samus

your GSdx is 100% outdated, it's about 800 revs behind. get the latest from the gsdx thread and try again

Nope samething happens exept its in the battle when Yunalesca is in her last form the emulator just quits... I got version 1171 for Gsdx runs better but still jams at that point.

38 hours thru the game and bam! its pretty frustrating. I tried the latest Zero Gs and samething happens

Your PC is very good to emulate the FFX with no problem .... I beat the whole game with not crashing at all.

Here some recommended setting for you (same as mine ... run FFX with no problem.)
- You just turn off all your speedhack.
- Use the Idle loop fast-foward hack.
- Use the PCSX2 r1059 Beta.
- Use Directx 10 [Hardware] (d3d Internal rest set to 1000 (above)/ 1000 (above) (all enable)- (!!!! NO Interlacing !!!!).
- SPUX2 for sound plugin (default setting)
- Must use Linuz ISO as CDVD plugin !!!
- Use BIos USA or Europe V.2.0 ... (note: I dump from my old PS2 and my friend PS2 ) so that I got 2 Bios.
- Set Force Limits FPS.

(Note: If this didn't help you .. why don't you go update your Directx and your GPU driver.)

I had this problem as well and the only way I could get past was to switch the graphics plugin to something completely different before the glitches occur. A better solution is to download the latest beta (and plugins) because I use the latest beta and I never had this problem again. Just play through until the next save sphere because the newer betas have different save state version if you want to go back to 0.9.6
