gud day.when im configuring graphics plugin, i use GSdx 890 SSE3 but when i start a game it says " cpu does not support SSE 3.01". funny when i look at cpu config it says that my cpu supports sse 3. and when im playing games its realy damn slow i got only 20-30fps.heres my computer specs:

amd athlon x2 6000+
nvidia 9500GT 1gb
2gb ram

dont know why this happens i hope someone can help me out. tnx in advance

and another one of the sse3 vs. ssse3 threads Laugh just have a closer look at it and you'll see that the gsdx plugin uses the ssse3 (yes, 3 s) instruction set. ssse3 is intel only. like sse4.1. your amd cpu features a totally different instruction set called sse3 (only two s), which is not used by gsdx cause it provides nothing useful for emulation. so, you'll have to live with the sse2 version.

You just not see properly about that info in pcsx2 and gsdx plugin and this question have plenty times to times to be asked. My answer is see the different about that feature again and i give you a clue the "s".

What do you mean is SSSE3 wich is only supported by Intels multicore processors(excluding Dual Core). You have AMD processor so yours don't have it. Use GSDx SSE2 or just other graphic plugins.

EDIT: Upsss...I'm late ;]

Possible explaniation for this continious threadsTongue:

a) people are blind(dumb) and can't notice difference between sse3 and ssse3
b) people percieve ssse3 as a some sort of mistake, mispell
c) they are not aware of their cpu capabilities

C is probably the common cause. However, I wonder have many cases correspond with a or b.

Truth is the naming of SSSE3 was a dumb move which is an understandable mistake from people who doesnt really know what it is. However in this case it does say "SSE 3.01" which should alert some people (but still confuse some others) Tongue
