i was planning on buying a good gaming desktop for black friday and come across a few like this one:
https://www.newegg.com/abs-ali448/p/N82E16883360032

but was wondering if its even good enough to run in 1080p, because i dont wanna have to waste my money on something that won’t run good and pay shipping to ship it back because i heard some people say you have to be specific for the specs and that its better to build your own pc, thanks.

Shouldn't be a problem. I played some games on my compact livingroom PC (stuffed together in compact case, bad airflow in cupboard) with an old gen4 i5, 8GB RAM and my old NVIDIA GTX970 4G.

Please post your question in a new thread in chatterbox because it's not related to general support. Thank you.

Depending on the game, it can be. Also there are older PCs than yours.

Would have been better if they had specified which CPU it exactly is.
It should be fine. Using ogl renderer inpcsx2 will be a PITA with that AMD GPU, though...
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

i would mind never get the HP brand desktop,HP has a "tons" of pre-installed junked apps that will slow down it's desktop...i suggest to build your desktop on your own....and also those two has no video card henced not recommended.

If he feels confident enough, he can do what I did when I bought my last Dell computer. Just wipe out the C: drive and reinstall a clean copy of Windows. Assuming he has the confidence to do that
Windows 11 64 bit OS
Intel Core i7-10700
Geforce RTX 2060 6GB
32 GB DDR4 RAM
