any way to pause the emulator on screen?

like freezing the screen? I am doing the FFX-2 minigame and an ability like this would help.

I don't think that's possible on the new gui(someone correct me if I'm wrong)
On the old gui(the newest beta is rev.2186)just use any other plugin than LilyPad(if you can...for example SSSPSX)and then use Alt or F10.

hmm okay, a pause function would be a great addition

Under Config > Emulation Settings > Window disable "Hide window on suspend". Now when you hit esc the emulation window will stay open.
