bad sound and game is slow

hi,

i have a pentium 4 2.93ghz
1gb ram (going to upgrade to 2 gb)
256 mb nvidia geforce fx 5500
windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
pcsx2 all versions from 0.9.6-1.0.0
80gb hdd

dbz sparking meteor runs very slow during battles and menu and the voices of charcters are not heard

please help

better stick to your ps2 if you want to play the games, that pc is quite the dinosaur and it wont run any decent emulation program to begin with (gba, gameboy color, snes and nes will do decent i think tho)
