I'm not sure it would make too much difference. The internal recorder is not optimized anyway(which is why even other CPU based recorders like FRAPS do better), it's just sort of a "get the job done" implementation.

it's way more than get the job done, it's the only recorder i have seen in my life that ill get you 60FPS and the desired size you want.

We're supposed to be working as a team, if we aren't helping and suggesting things to each other, we aren't working as a team.

The output file from the internal recorder runs at 60fps no matter what your actual FPS is when playing. But it also splits the audio and video files apart and if I remember right it recodes in an uncompressed format so it can take up a TON of space if you play for a decent length of time.
