the best settings are what works for you. there's no set "use this" kind of thing for pcsx2

it depend on ur pc specs..
there is nothing like best setting for every game.. every single game has to be configured in a diffrerent way..(in case error or crashes occurs) *Mio sees a ghost for the first time* Mio: Aaaaaaah!! x_x Seriously, the way she acts, you'd think she grew up with ghosts.

It actually exists and is being enhanced and prepared to do more than it does today. It's called the games database. Nowadays it is already able to automatically apply the game fixes for most games and can be activated by simply marking the "Enable Patches" in the GUI.
Still it can do more and eventually will, like applying known useful hacks and more. That's not trivial task as many may think, one major reason being not everything that is good for one is good for all, as the former posts already pointed out. PS: The game database is placed at the emu root folder and can be seen with applications able to read dbf files; but one should not try to directly edit it, probably will just break it's structure doing so.

owh yeah..
i found that file aptly name GameIndex.dbf is it? never opened that file before with the notepad never understand the thing but i get the rough idea how it works.. thanks for clarifying *Mio sees a ghost for the first time* Mio: Aaaaaaah!! x_x Seriously, the way she acts, you'd think she grew up with ghosts. |
