bios dump problem

i've got a old ps2 slim which software version is 1.11, due to this so old softaware i can't dump the bios because the console doesn't see the bios dump on the flashdrive. how can i do to dump anyways the bios please? from the bios dump video i saw that who dumps the bios with a flashdrive sees a bigger menu, i can see only browse and setting
the dvd reader doesn't work so i can't try by using cd's.

you need a freemcboot exploit, there's a few threads if you look around for them

personally, if you have a friend with a FAT ps2 I would do the exploit on theirs and just get mcboot running to use it on the slim, cause the fat mod is so much easier

I did mine with Socom 2 on my old fat PS2. Was pretty easy.

Edit: You could also just buy a freemcboot memory card on ebay or Amazon.

indeed you could, you can also do the softmod on a slim PS2, I was giving a recommendation

my ps2 is slim, i don't know if i wrote about this before. i'm not skilled about modding and emulators, this is new to me, i came here because the cd reader of my ps2 doesn't work anymore else i would still play with my console.

well, you have a tutorial on modding the PS2 now, unless you need to know how to block the sensors on the slim
