after having the thought of using a modchip on my fat ps2, I had the thought of trying to play ps2 games that I own off of a usb stick I have; I understand at least 2 programs can do this (if they still exist at all): usb advance and usb extreme
I understand I may need free mcboot, and ulanuchelf, but am I missing anything?

never mind, apparently, I didn't read the instructions about this, and I assumed it was all automatic
I had to change the ODASYS options in the free mcboot configurator to show openps2loader, and it worked
thanks for the link though prafull

looks like i have to stick with this method from now on, or until I reinstall my OS; seems like something borked in my OS, and keeps giving me
this error here (check attachment) whenever I try using the latest beta of ScpToolKit with pcsx2, with both a stable version of pcsx2 and a dev version; granted I could switch to the stable version again, but the beta worked so far, until now
