I recommend you to remove GameBooster and any kind of performance boost software. All are fake.

The "Auron Look!" crash occurs on the PS2 as well. It is because of the bad iso/disc. You should redump your ISO.

I can play FFX at 2x native on an Intel HD, so you should use 2x with your HD 2000/3000, too. Native does not look good.

Gamebooster doesn't do much work. Instead you better had the registry cleaned. Biggrin

Well, I personally disabling the Windows Aero caused a slowdown to me.

The Auron looks was a bug : Final fantasy X

Redump your ISO from the disk properly.

Try the latest PCSX2 SVN as said here: Final Fantasy X

ok i made an .iso and i got it working now.

i changed the plugging to x2 native but i got alot of lag when i see auron for the first time so...im staying whit the native normal...

oh yea and i got some slowdown in some fights...like 45fps..for 2 seconds then 60 again.

also do i have to change the SSE to 4.2? or leave it in 2?

The frame drops during battle is because Demi is cast and the graphics card is not powerful enough. Change the resolution to something like 720x720 (custom) may help.

You should be prepared for Siva summoning and Mi'ihen Highroad slowdown as well.
