No it does not meet the minimum system requirement. The minimum is a Core 2 Duo @ 3.0 Ghz and a 9800 GT. His PC is a weak Acer laptop with a mobile Pentium Dual-Core @ 2.3 Ghz and likely an Intel 4500 MHD. Even old PC games could not run on this.

Edit: I'm afraid you cannot play FFXII. My laptop is powerful than yours and FFXII runs at 30 ~ 50 FPS, which is quite slow.

Sorry! Mate but most games will run very slow Nothing can be done about it.

@livy 30 fps for FFX is too slow. My Laptop handles it at almost fullspeed. (almost )

so there is a new minimun requirement for this latest pcsx2 build i will remember that thing.

While the Reccomended Requirements is :

• Windows Vista/7 32/54-bit
  
• CPU : core 2 Duo, Core I3/I5/I7, Phenom II (All at 3.4+ Ghz)
  
• GPU : Nvidia 8800 GT or better (same applicable to ATI's ones)
  
• 1GB ( or 2GB if on Windws Vista/7)
  

So i think the Reccomended is Core 2 Duo 3.4+GHz. But if his one is laptop with that confgiuration then it won't help with any games i suppose. Better buy a enw one for gaming purpose.

Minimum is defined as it is in PC games, the minimum PC you need so the program will run not get good (or even acceptable) speeds.
