SvR2011 on the newest SVN (after beta, which is just as good) is running at full speed for me (with a 2.2 ghz dc) and yes, the plugins DO make a large difference

I downloaded 0.9.7 and tbh, I prefer 0.9.6.

i downloaded .9.7 from this site with all the latest plugins etc but it still hasn't improved. in fact its deproved. (Unless I configured it wrong...)

Is there better plugins compared to what im using now for .9.6?

you can transfer the plugins from 0.9.7 folder to 0.9.6 folder.

keep in mind 0.9.7 has improved compatibility and stability, though... even if sometimes it may be slower than 0.9.6

I fully configured 0.9.7 and tbh, I prefer 0.9.7! The fps goes from 45-50 in game! Even SvR 2011!

Thanks for all your help
