can someone help me config pcsx 2?

I am having a hell of a time configuring pcsx2, i have an i7, 1.60 ghz, 6gb ram, nVidia GeForce GT 230 video card, ...i see the playstation logo and the name of my game, the shield will spin as if its going to start and it just stops and stays there. tried a bunch of youtube vids and so far ive come up blank,,,,,,,thanks in advance!!!!

what i7 is 1.6ghz?? i dont seem many games work well with the specs you showing atlest not @ 1.6ghz even if it a i7.

it amazing how many people ignore that thread them post as ask why the game run slow..

Post emulog also running from Disc or ISO? Fast boot or Full boot? cause it sound like your in the system menu and look at the game disc from there.. If your pc is in adaquet the game would boot, unless you didnt setup the emulator correct according to the many Stickys

ment the emu log when you trying to run a game not of emulog with it doing nothing, like i said even if pc in below specs it will still boot the game barring your setting are wrong

Try the latest SVN too. Cause game will boot regardless to spec

i was trying to play maximo and the army of zin and i see ps2 splash screen,capcom and then maximos shield spins like game is about to start and it just sits there and does nada. tried every setting under the sun and a bunch of how to vids, cant get it to run at all much less fast or slow, where do i find the emu log? im a newb to emulators lol.

See if that helps but you would have to post log of emu when that is happen. for the dev's or someone else to look at to tell you if there some bug or error happen, Cause I dont know how to really read those logs.

The log you showing is same emu log that would be needed when the game is running as far as i know

I would say re rip in iso format from the original disc With IMGBurn but soon as mod see this it will closed and warned for piracy
