cannot get xenosaga episode 1 cheat codes to work.

Hello, I'm having trouble getting xenosaga episode 1 cheat codes to work. I have cheat codes enabled and I'm pretty sure the codes are in the correct format in the correct file so I'm not sure what's wrong. got the codes off this site

Does the console titlebar says that you have multiple cheats enabled
Those codes are for the ntsc(usa)version of the game,is your game the ntsc version

It doesn't. Pretty sure this is the ntsc version of the game as well.

NTSC or PAL Should be written on your game staircase. Please check

I can verify those codes work. I have used many of them before. Either your pnach is in wrong folder or it's not NTSC.

Is there is no [ ?? Cheats ] text in the console window titlebar,that could mean:
1.You are placing the pnach file in the wrong location
2.Your pnach fine have a wrong name
3.Your pnach file does not have .pnach extension but .pnach.txt

When you run the game with cheats enabled,you will see something like this
