cant leave the liger lair in tales of the abyss

ok so after i kill the queen and im leaving the room i killed her (the liger queen) in i come across a white liight on the ground...well i pick it up and TRY to keep going but when i get close to the spot where it was laying it makes me go thru the scene of picking up again and i cant go past that spot no matter what i try D: the white light is a technic ring incase that info helps...i just cant get past it...


if any1 has had this problem and fixed it or knows how to fix it please tell me...thanks!
